Good afternoon, Ravenswood Grade School families,

Today, an inadvertent button was accidentally activated at the school, which prompted a response from local law enforcement. Police and school personnel responded quickly and appropriately to ensure the safety and security of all students and staff.

At no time were students or staff in danger, and normal school operations resumed promptly. We appreciate the swift response and partnership of our local law enforcement agencies as well as your continued support and understanding.

Thank you,

While many roads in our area are clear, we recognize that some are still impacted, especially in the southern part of our county. Our teams have been out monitoring roads all day and have determined that some bus routes need to be abbreviated.

Today we started a School Store program to help our school raise money. A lanyard with information explaining how the program works has been sent home with your student. Your student will earn a participation prize for sending out eight or more emails when they return the filled-out lanyard to school. They can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. So don't forget to send the filled-out lanyard with the code back to school, and thanks for your support.
