Good afternoon. This is Will Hosaflook, Superintendent of Jackson County Schools.
On Tuesday, December 19, our internet service provider WVNET will be completing network maintenance on their server systems. It is very likely all governmental agencies and schools in West Virginia will not have internet access. However, all school phone systems should work if you need to contact the school. School personnel are aware of the internet outage and have adjusted their plans accordingly. Tuesday will be our last full day of school before Christmas break, while on Wednesday, December 20, students will be dismissed 3 hours early. Please have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Menu change for Thursday, December 14th
Spaghetti, salad, bread stick, apple sauce, milk
Visit us at the Gingerbread House at Washington's Riverfront Park on December 7th from 5:00-9:00!

Good afternoon parents and guardians, this is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, October 13, 2023, is a Professional Learning Day for school employees. This means that students will not have classes. We have also added parent-teacher conferences to the Professional Learning Day this year. If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher, please reach out to them as soon as possible. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss your child's progress and ask any questions you may have. Thank you, and have a great day!
HJK is always looking for opportunities to support our students. This week we supported the Down Syndrome Network of WV by honoring our very own Captain Jack!
