Our first graders recently participated in a virtual Zoom activity called "Tree-Mendous Smokies." The online meeting featured a park ranger from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Cherokee, NC!
Students learned about what makes a tree a tree, what trees provide to us, and what animals make trees their habitats. What a cool way to learn about another part of our country and our trees at the same time!
